how to take off a dethreaded head bolt

THE HEAD IS OFF. Thanks everyone for your help.

Used a screw driver and a hammer.
One question though. What does it mean when the head gasket say the date 11/97?
Could that mean that it is an original head gasket?

It could mean anything, it's just the date the HG was made.
