With some pliers, thats what i use.

ill try the pliers because they are not moving. Might give the hammer a miss though.

Only pull on the boot (right down near the plug) if you pull on the wire chances are youll break the conductor and ruin the lead.

Just when you use the pliers don't pull it but the lead because it will rip. Trust me i know

so get the pliers as low as possible

Not to low because then you will be holding the spark plug and you wont be able to take that out
