 i did that to my car ind it made a pretty noticable difference in sound

as long as you dont take out the cat converter coz if u get caught without one its a $20,000 fine.
My Falcon had 3 mufflers anyway now it has 2....soon to have 1

Cut out all mufflers after the cat and install a hot dog 3inches from the tail pipe.

Nothing illegal about it. No different to getting an exhaust with only 1 muffler. That's your best bet. A mate of mine got the rear muffler in his BA XT cut out, and a piece of pipe welded in. Improved the note ten-fold.

In all seriousness, if you remove the front and rear resonator, but leave the large centre muffler I am sure you'd get a decent note out of the stock exhaust.
