Loving it & should be a real screamer too
I reckon some sort of cold air intake box should muffle out any valve-train noise resonating through the bonnet.

Gotta love ebay :D

Made some calls today chasing some ignition coils BA/BF, I needed 6 of them.

Ford wanted $90 each = $540
Repco wanted $75 each = $450
Wreckers wanted $49 each = $294 and they only had 5 second hand

Just bought these on ebay $150 for all 6 = $25 each with 12 month Ford warranty

Now just need an engine loom from a BA to get the clips, Ford want $450 for the base model loom

Wreckers are $150

wouldnt you be better off with LS1 coils - that way you dont need an ignitor for each one.
How do you plan to retain the ba coils on the plugs?

Probably be cheaper too, the 3 coil ignitors are $165 each! :)

New LS1 types are $90-100 each (depending on the brand), that puts it up near $600 for the setup, Plus 6 x leads, and they are too big for my liking.

2 x EMS 3 coil igniters I can get for $300 for the pair, then the BA coils $150 = $450

To hold them in place I am going to fabricate a bracket from 8mm aluminium that will run along the side of the rocker cover, and using the original HT lead bolt hole on the side of the cover to mount it. They also have the right bend in them to sit nicely along the valley part of the rocker cover and all the plugs point backwards, all nice and neatly, could even use some sort of extrusion section to hide the wires, that way I have a perfectly smooth and uncluttered rocker cover with no leads running over the top.
