Hi All,
You remove the injectors yourself, take them to a "Cleaning Specialist" and he/she does what? Ultrasonically clean them? With water and detregent? Just out of curiosity, can buy an Ultrasonic Cleaner on Ebay for $75 AUD and do it yourself, right? Gimme your ideas or trials.. Thanks. ![]() |

Thanks. ![]() I've have used the 'on car' Carbon Clean system where they disconnect your fuel line and run you car on the cleaning machine. I did not find this method very effective. I have removed them myself and had them cleaned off line. This is a ultrasonic cleaner however it cleans and sprays the injector using a series of pulses to simulate the injector in normal use. This way they can check the spray pattern. I have found this to be the most effective cleaning method.
