good luck in fixing the diff nick...... i really want to try and put the springs in myself =D so ill probably need to borrow someones spring compressors.....or make my own some how. good luck with it all =D

you don't need a spring compressor for the fronts if you are changing to superlows.

get one person to stand on the spring (and watch their other foot, don't put it at the bottom of the shock!!), and rattle off the other end (hold loosely) - because you are using a socket the nut will stay in the socket, the shock will move a few cm (or inches) and so will the rattle gun.

you can put the supers back in without a compressor, using that same friend again one pushes down while the other starts the nut.

Update:
Diff is fixxed lucky i can weld
should be back on the ground first thing 2 morrow
will post up pics of new ride hight
dyno 2 morrow arvo hopfully

head will be off sat and at the head doctor on tuesday will get it back wednesday arvo then
pull all nighter on wednesday nite and should be all good to go thursday for some more dyno time

sweet.....one more thing......i don't have a rattle gun :shock: so i won't be able to do it?

nick.....is it really that easy to get the springs out from the video?

i did a spring change for a mate justn the other day... i layed it on the side with the top just a few inches from the wall and slowly undid the nut till crack he he... just make sure there's nothing behing the shocker

Come on its Phong. Hes a little slow. Hehe

Question....Do you need to get different shocks when u go from stock springs to lows or what ever you got there. I have the GT Gas but they have done s**t all Kms.

i have superlows for the front with std shockers thay hold in alright so you won't need to change your shocks if you have new ones
