What's wrong with AU? - first off it's difficult to get brown paper bag big enough... - and even if you could it would muck up the aerodynamics - BUT it would improve the look...

lol AU's are an acquired taste, the base models are shameful, but the XR's are a thing of beauty... so you cant knock them too much, same as the VS Statesman... not many people like them but the people that do absolutely love them...

lol at Phongus! You pretty much hit the nail on the head about an XR6 being a kitted up XT. I'll keep my AU XR8 anyday of the week over a glamoured up taxi. Just my 2 cents.....

Well first of all ur not going to find a bf xr6 for under 10 grand, unless it has over 200,000 ks, or something that needs fixing. which u dont want, i paid 13,000 with a full years rego, BA xr6 mk2 4 speed,Great condition with 120,000 kilometers. and the power is great, also made sure i purchased from an older couple who had kids and seems quiete sensible when it came to looking after cars...
plus a ba will always be cheaper for insurance..
well thats what i think anyway, ive done my research.
