Fitted the intake onto the AU today.Problems encounted were minor.
I first smeared a line of grease to find were it would touch & it did.

Chioce of either bend the brackets or cut a small hole in the bonnet but large enough to refitte the sound deadner so as it would mould in. I took the cut a small hole with a air saw route. About 1 hours work all up also a small bit of slotting on one of the legs easy. Looks a lot neater now plus a bonus of purple pig not charging me for a 3" rubber off cut.
thanks FTG Dismantlers the effort in making the intakes .

How is the heat dissipation of the air intakes all you lucky people?

will it heat up enough to negate the use of it?

i cant wait... why does silver have to be last!!!

hey guys i got my intake, looks great but i have an ef afirmont and i dont have a pcv valve so do i just block that up or what??

also i have a gas system which incorporated into my existing intake. A pipe from the conterver goes to the mixer just before the throtle body and on the one there now they had to cut the intake to get it on??

any ideas?

Got my silver one today too. Looks absolutely HORN! I've ripped the old intake off already, got the new one all fitted to the air box and sitting here on my lounge room floor. I need to see if I can source a piece of 3" tube before I can fit it to my baby.
