sorta - theres 3 plugs on the inhibitor switch for the auto. One plug is starter inhibitor, one is gear selection to ecu, and one is reverse lamp wiring. U only want to plug in the one for the gear selection, im sorry i dont know what it is off the top of my head. Also u want to select it to drive, not neutral, this is because if the car thinks it is in neutral, it idles up higher so as it can cope with the higher load when u select "drive" with an auto car.

sorry to wander off topic but how hard and how long did it take to convert?
as i'd like to do the same to my EF and not many ppl in perth are willing to do it for me.

Took about a week from Mon to Sun, straigt after i nocked off word to bout 11 each night. Pain in the a**!!!! because i was learning as i went, but would be easier if i had to do it again. Changing the boxes was a piece of piss, just having to drop the stearing collum and take out the hole dash to put the peddle box in was a nightmare. took bout 4 days, and it never goes back together the same. If your gonna do it yourself... GOOD LUCK.

Geeze! I will take some pics or my resistor when I finish off the Interceptor ECU! I used a 512K ohm resistor and that woked well. Also, make sure that it is registering in Neutral! If you need help doing this, just let me know!

It is very easy to do the resistor trick!
