Put a t5 in it, the best thing you can do to these. First gear in the manual is a killer. Mines so much quicker since i got the manual put in. Also try and get a tickford computer too, helps a bit.

I got my springs off ebay for 200 brand new from a shop. I got King Spring Superlows, but it was the same price for lows, ultras and std.

Well if you get a good deal you could pick up the whole conversion for about $400-500. It will cost about that againto get it fitted by a mechanic. Then you need to "trick" the ECU for the manual. I picked up an XR6 Manual ECU for $200 of ebay. Theres a doco on here. Worth a look.

Hope that helps

they increase the intake port and exhaust port size and make the head flow a bit better. Seeing a hg isnt going to give you any power or fuel savings, its better waiting till the last minute to take the head off. once it is, get EVERYTHING that needs doing to it done. cause your up for big coin when you do.

theres heaps of threads and stickies on this stuff mate.

to recoupe a bit of fuel economy, replace the oxy sensor, air temp sensor and the fuel filter. that should be where the bulk of your money should go to start with

Au is coil pack.. your EL is distributer.. completely differnet, you'd need to replace most of the wiring in the engine bay and dash.. not worth it.
