this is comin from someone who dont read his posts....whats a conon or commimi...anywyas each to their own dude

Has it actually been dyno or whatever proven to hinder performance with the rumoured increase in back pressure?
My fingers are to fat & I type 79 words per minute. its been a long day at work plus I'm to hungry to bother reading my post. is that good enough?

why bother? copmare my 2.5" catback ($235) with a magna with 2.5" extractors, exhaust and cannon. mine is
a) louder
b) sounds nicer
c) improves engine performance, not lose backpressure
d) doens't look rice
e) i can go in and out of driveways without worrying about my shiny tin hanging off the back of my car.

anyone got any pro's on a cannon? i'm open to what anyone has to say. i'm yet to find a pro for a cannon on non-turbo cars. on some turbo cars they're not needed either.

oh you poor missguided little boy...
the magna sounds crap because it is a 3.5L V6 it's the engine layout that make it sound crap not the canon.

the whole point of a larger exhaust (your 2.5 catback) IS TO REDUCE BACKPRESSURE.. backpressure is the enemy of horespower.
think about it, you trying to get exhaust gases out, backpressure is a resistance to exhaust flow.

oh and the car in the first post. bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
hahahahahahahhaahahhaahahhahaahahahaah

bahahahahhahahahahaha

what the hell were you thinking???? that has to be the single most gayest f#cked up thing i have ever seen on a falcon. i mean realy dude. on some cars they look good because they can be mounted stright and actualy fit!! take the f#cking hidious thing off

I think I'm funny and thats all that matters to me..
point of previous post..

Cannons SUCK!! E series falcons don't have the lines to pull it off needs to be some japo f@rt cannon exhaust setup..

or R I C E.

point made and laid..

build a bridge and get over it. dud decision if you were in my shoes, I'd use the nearest hacksaw or angle grinder and take it off.

he doesn't need a grinder, he can come & drive up my steep drive a couple of times. that'll grind the f**k off.

I think it looks awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It looks alot better than having neon's on your car or weird looking boot spoilers that look more suited to an airplane. etc.....

I don't regard a cannon muffler as rice. The expensive ones actually increase performance(magnaflow is an example).

I actually heard one yesterday in south brissy, it was a green EF and had a cannon muffler out the a***.

Just roared after he got up it and the idle note sounded like a stage 5 cam under the donk.

i know it's a magna, and everytime i see it i tell him to buy a real car and to stop being a ricey gay prick. he'd have done better sticking with his old 3 speed XF S-Pack or the XC wagon he sold me for $85 - now that wagon was loud!!

but there IS a point where you lose too much back pressure. that's the point i'm trying to convey. then the engine has to work more to move the exhaust gases away from the engine because, for example, it you had 5" extractors (i know, impossible, but tryign to make my point understood, just on a rediculously huge scale!) you have to fill the 5" before it can be pushed further down the pipe. the outside air pressure would also push UP the pipe toward the engine, instead of exhaust gases going down the pipe away from the engine.

there are many variables, but from what i've seen, bigger exhausts, cannon's and the like are NOT always better.

(exhausts bigger than the cylinders in the car? just sad!!)
