Its an XT BA I6 Air box... -is SOOOOO much larger on the inside(great pod clearance) than the E-series air boxes... sits very high in the engine bay... millimatre's clearance when shutting the bonnet... :wink:

been there done that... was taken off about 3 months ago...stayed on the car for one month... problem with the intake is that it has only one vaccum hose point on it which means you have to triple up the..

*fuel regulator hose
*brake booster hose
*map sensor

Ecu and unichip were getting confused and the engine ranlike a dog...
*anything 2000rpm and under decelerating IN GEAR and the car would shunt badly.. :roll:
*a random stall issue.. :roll:
*designing an intake or it... :?:

But those things can be sorted out over time.. :wink:

there's a "step" in the sheet metal of ther inner wheel arch that has tp be hammered down 10millimetre's with a wooden mallet.. The top two bolts line up pretty well... but you need TALLER bolts.. Apart from that even the snorkel goes on easy.. :wink:

Wow very nice. Have you painted the engine bay or is that a cover? If its painted was it very hard?
I guess you have to remove alot of the supporting gear for the engine (coolant tank, relays, brake boosters etc.)

very clean and shiny indeed...I'm polishing my thermostat housing at the moment...a lot of elbow grease involved...don't know how you managed to sand the BBM. You must have a lot of time on your hands :P

BTW is the rocker cover painted or also polished?

phong =P~
