Hi everyone, this is my first post as i have just moved to the ford scene.

There are a few things i already want to do to my car, but are undecisive which would be the more beneficial thing to do

Performance:
Exhaust
Extractors
Catalytic Convertor
LPG conversion

Audio:
Type R Front Rear Sub and AMP
Head deck
DVD Player

Visual:
Decals
Interior neons
Possibly Body kit depending on price.

THese are all things i am wanting to do however i am not sure what would be best places, brands and if it would be a waste of money or not.

Thanks in advance for any help Possible

Definitely get onto the decals and vinyl before anything else.

Deffinantly. You need the street cred and star rating before you can unlock the best performance parts.

Do a bit of all man.
Exhaust.
Nice speakers.
Neons.

Then say extractors
Subs/amp
Bodykit.

trade in the ford for a skyline/supra ;) haha

nah depends, do you have any p plate restrictions, etc?

personally i would do the gas and claim the rebate, then stereo as it will be the most beneficial after the fuel costs compared to gas.

then do extractors/exhaust and such.

each to their own but i think decals are a bit ricey for a big car like a falcon

glad to see someone else apply NFS (everything) knowledge.
My advise just chase power. nothing better than a sleeper. nothing worse than a car screaming look at me and not being able to back it up.

Gday Matty b118,

Welcome to fordmods bud :D

Yer def ditch the vinyls idea mate

How about LPG conversion and get the rebate as said
And then extractors and zorst
Stereo and maybe window tint
Then some nice rims and dump it
Then maybe think of bodykit - try to stick to ford kits (even after market ford designed copies) IMO
And then perhaps go onto bigger engine/performance mods

Just my 2c - probably how Id do it anyway
Good luck bud 8-)

Cheers

THanks everyone for the replies.

HAHA i previously had a supra, maybe partly the reason wanting to do it up.

When i bought the car it came with some 18 inch amg(not mercedes) wheels and lowered so luckily those things I dont have to do.

I did get a quote that it was going to cost 3950 for a conversion (2250 after rebate)
Is that a fair quote and worth it? Too me thats going to take a bit of time to get out of the negative.

I did get quoted 1050 to get an exhaust catalytic conversion and extractors. So possibly looking at doing that for the first upgrade.

THen neons and sound system sounds like the next go.

thanks everyone for the help, any further help would be appreciated.

personally id go with a mix of everything, go with lpg conversion first this will help you save for your other mods, then go exhaust and stereo, window tint, and some nice rims and dump it basicly the same as what i6_demon said.

Also don't forget the "drive it like you stole it" "bundy rum" ect stickers.
Haha
How much cheaper is lpg in the long run. I doubt I will change mine over cos my car was build for petrol and I wanna keep it that way. Just wondering tho.

JESUS!!

2250 AFTER REBATE?!? hang on, are we talking vapour injection here?
a standard mixer type set up will cost you bugger all if anything after rebate.
look in the alternative fuels forum for more info etc,

but yeah as i said earlier and i_6 demon etc have collaborated, do the gas first (Y)

Dont do a mixer type LPG on a BA. If you are going to put LPG on it do a injected system.
