G'day,

Are you absolutly sure its your chain?
What type of car?
How many Km's on the engine?
Any mods done?
Can you explain the noise more in depth?
When was the last service?
Have you had a timing belt/chain changed?

A little more info may help us to help you.

Did you bring it up when you got your service done?

I've had problems with timing chains, bad fuel (pinging), lifters etc... I have had to eliminate each problem one by one. Now I am down to just lifter noise, which I thought was a chain rattle, only because I had chain issues previousely.

Good luck hunting down this problem.
