What is major damage in terms of a torque converter mr cjh??

I was feeling better about it because I didn't think it was like a big end that could spit a rod through the block... I figured the worse thing a converter could do was lock solid?

Quite a few things that can go wrong in the torque converter. Had some fins break off years ago in a old XA I had, C4 behind a pretty grunty 351 :)
