My car is going in for a service in about 4 weeks, and it is acting a bit funny, just want to know if anyone has any suggestions for what it may be.
When i first start my car and its cold, i find under light throttle that the motor misses a bit. Once its warm though, it sorts its self out pretty quickly. Also, when i started it the other day, i noticed that it has a strange "sucking" kinda noise happening, dunno if that me being parenoid... I couldnt see any hoses that had come right off. Also, after i give it a bit of a flogging up the local range road, for the next few hours/days the idle goes mega lumpy. Sounds like i have a decent cam in it, but i dont! I know its proly all pretty random stuff, but yeah, if it is all syptoms for a problem, let me know. Cheers, Nic |

josh - bah!!
Fordfreak - this service coming up is the 150 000, so i think the plugs and leads will be changed anyway, ill try put some injector cleaner through it, and ill run a self test when i get back home. Note: i really like the lumpy idle though, sounds good!! ha ha ![]() |
