hey guys i wanna know what are the best throttle bodies for performance upgrade on a BA 6 cyl besides the expensive SS type.??
Any ideas guys..

What other mods have you done? No point in upgrading it unless its got a fair bit of work already done.

intake??
tune??

i'd suggest doing the above before you do a larger throttlebody....

yeh full exhaust system, extractors and hii flow system, bigmouth air intake + shaker kit, flash tune + custom tune.
Options for thottle bodies hmm?

bigger camshafts and a retune would be more effective.

a cheaper option would be to grab a stock throttle body and do some work to it yourself.

I did this on my xh so it's a little different, but all i did wash grab like a 40mm flapper disc and chuck it in a drill or dremel. then i just smoothed the transitions between raw cast and machined on both sides of the butterfly, opened up the mouth a bit, just don't open up around the butterfly or you will alter the clearances. then polish with autosol, knife edge the butterfly and polish that too.

made a noticable difference for like $20 and a bit of work.

Who does BA camshafts?

i like ur idea XH, i mite find an xr8 or a 70mm one and try that myself, got any pics of the before and after looks by aby chance?
