tickford heads had bigger exhaust valves...

get a standard head and get bigger valves put in, along with a substantial port and polish....

you will not get 160 rwkw without head work, you will need a big cam and the head work to go with it, amongst a host of other mods...

hmmm is that it??

Well i have an AU head so they come standard with the larger exhaust valves 41mm i think. but apparently run smaller ports ? would it be more costly to get an EF head and have larger valves fitted or get the Au head ported?

oed-666, from ffau runs 162rwkw with a cam n chip in a stock AU XR6 non VCT motor in his ed so the stock au tickford head does well..

I was wondering about some people porting broadband manifolds? AFAIK they are all identical inside and the phoon gets about 250kw so there's no great gain by porting here? Exhaust has more to offer methinks.
