Can't release timing chain tensioner.
try with 3mm alen key with a tube. no luck.
how far should I press and turn.
is there any otherway to do it?
if I take out tensioner retainer can I do it.

any ideas guys,

yer i had to take out the retainer when i changed my cam

ohh you will need a new o ring for it as if u install it with the old one it will leak!

Any dramas puting it back. do I have to take timing cover off.
how to put timing tension back.

If i were you i wouldnt play with it...
Trust me its more trouble then its worth to tighten it.
If you take the retaining bolt out of its hole it wont go back in and the piston inside that it attaches to will fall into the timing chain cover and seaze up.
TRUST ME, I did it to my own car 2 weeks ago.
Get a mechanic to take a look at it, If its just the tension you want to change get the tool from ford or something and tighten it that way, but dont take out the retainer bolt.

I just want to replace head gasket
I don't know I already damaged it or not.
I push hard with a tube and alen key.
