have had a similair thread a while ago but here goes... vn pulls harder in the lower rev range but at anything over 60-70km/h the falcon reeels in the vn and leaves it behind... to 100km/h and on the quater...

how long is a piece of string?

As EFFalcon said - Neither is massively different to the other. Winner will depend on how long the race lasts (400m?), straight line or track, auto's or manual's, condition of cars (service history), ability of drivers, etc, etc, etc

If you google the performance specs on both cars youll get as close to an answer as you will get without racing them.

Let me look into my crystal ball...
You have a mate with a VN S-Pack.. he says he'll beat you... you say you'll beat him...
Neither of you have the balls to go to a dragstrip...
It becomes foggy after that, cause even my crystal ball can't tell the condition of the cars, what transmissions they have, and how you and your mate can drive.

Twice the length it is from the center to one end...

What i think it golden is you post of on a Ford forum to ask who is going to win...

To be honest... i would go to a drag strip and sort it out... cause that way you'll have your times and it won't be a he said this. or a it was cause of the road condition...

At least at a drag strip you'll have no excuse's and you also have a safe environment to do so in

Well its really hard to say, it depends on wether you or your mate turn 18 first......

So sick of this question, use the search button and youll find plenty of info.

Don't be fooled by the "S" badge. No more power than a stocker.

As stated plenty of times before (and what should be common knowlege) if it's auto vs auto, the VN will beat you to 60 kays (but not by much) after that she's EF all the way.

If's it manual for manual, the EF will rape the VN both off the line and especially in gear (my mate has a manual EF Futura and he rapes his work mates auto VN flat out!, he's also beat a VT auto as well).

Mod for mod and EF will respond better and therefore be quicker.

But yeah, just race him (safely, off the line at a set of lights or at the strip) and tell us how it goes.
