What is cheaper, a new engine oil cooler, or an engine that doesn't last long????

Thats the sort I use, and haven't had any probs.
Make sure you use high quality hose for the oil cooler hose. You could get it from Pirtek ( spelling??), or Enzed.

So you never changed it to a Grey one???? The later AU1 had the Grey ones, because of oil consumption complaints from owners.

how different could a pcv valve be???

The grey ones have a much smaller hole in them for starters, don't know about the spring tension inside for the valve.

is there meant to be some spring tension in a PCV?
