Whats needed to build a drifter

is it hard to move the hand brake from the coloum to near the seat??

hydraulic brake setup isnt really all that nexessary. I find that my EL drum handbrake works a treat :) Instant lock!

very good idea!!! a charger would give you power all the time and more control of the throttle instead of just waiting for a turbo to hit boost n the just holding on!

looking at that picture maybe you could make one get the handbrake thing of a caravan or big trailer and run some piping to the brake system.

A hydraulic handbrake doesnt work off the STD rear handbrake.
The Hydraulic handbrake assy gets tapped into the line that runs from the master cyl to the rear brakes. when the handle is down the brakes work as normal. Rip up on the handle and the cyl pressures the rear line, using the master cyl as the fluid res. So you could even keep the std handbrake for parking in the pits.
May be able to modify a trailer brake unit to suit...
Anyone got a spare one kicking around with a removable fluid res..?

Initital D is the best 8-) Im in love with the series. Maybe no one else has seen initial D? I learnt a s**t from it :P
