HI my friend has a honda accord 4cly when in idle, it revs from 1000 up to 2000 then back down to 1000 and so on so on what could be the problem????

could be and idle control sensor dead or dirty, you will get more info on a Honda Forum though.

+1 find a honda forum as they would know exactly wat would be causing the problem if its common
