the only holden v6 i found fast was the vn series 1, beats our el's ba's and fg's

others like the vs i found pulled hard for 0-2 and i mean 2 not 20 and then got back into it at 40 till60 and died and never came back

was this a stock vs?

iv only ever been in stockers

My mate has a series 2 vn belrina and i drive my eb2 fairmont and the fairmont is a litlle quicker....not by much though only a car length between them. Both stock

it was only the vn series 1 that had a 0-100 in 6.5sec others had 9 or so that would be why

Mmmm somethin like that, but fords aint slo, just need a bit of work.
And some models r difent in ways, like my mums BA SR is quiker than a XT but slower than a XR6.

the auto falcons are just a s**t car to compare accaleration wise.
i find mine feels doughy as unless i give it say 1/3 throttle (kinda feels like the converter is just slipping) but its cause of the super long first gear and 3.08 diffs.
commodores have a much better first gear (and maybe even auto lol) plus most of them are 3.45 diff ratios anyway

I dont understand how a SR could be quicker than an XT, they've got identical mechanicals appart from the xr spec springs. The only reason the XR is quicker is due to the 3.45 gears in the diff.

ok....5spd conversion done :D

car is now a s**t more responsive and feels way quicker than parents xr6 despite having twice the kms :)

Now to try install the el thermofans and XH snorkel i got sitting here !
