Silicone spray is meant to be a dry lubricant, therefore it shouldn't attract dirt like say CRC or WD40. Maybe you got hold of some cheap s**t that doesn't dry out properly. I use CRC-808 Silicone spray and haven't had any dirt attraction problems.
