hey guys, im not sure if this is the most appropriate area to post this but i just want to know what the main differences between the BA XT 6 cyl and an XR6 turbo, aside from the turbo(obviously) and an LSD.

Reason being for a decent XR6T i'd be paying around 25K as apposed to 15K for an XT, therefor leaving me 10K to put an LSD, better exhaust and premium sound in it... or is there a whole lot more to the XR6T's?

thanks guys

xr6 turbos have stronger engine, stronger driveline including transmission, driveshaft and dif. Better suspension. Turbo gives it power an NA cant compete with. If you plan on staying NA (and maybe due to insurance prices), then an xt is fine, with the right mods, you can get a low 14 sec pass in an xt. With the same money spent on the turbo, you'd be looking at 11 second passes.

body kit
wheels
suspension i think
interior
elec windows in the back i think
resale value *should* be better
already decent exhaust on it
obviously as you stated, turbo etc and LSD
different steering wheel etc
badges? lol

go look at them at your local dealership asap and you will see it all yourself and answer your own Q of which way to go. Better again, drive each before deciding.

Personally, I'd rather a stocko XR6T than an XT with 10k wasted on it.

yep.. XR6T all the way.. I could have kept going with my mods to my XT but I bit the bullet, got the turbo and I'd glad I did.

only problem is insurance though :( I'm just gonna wait till i'm 25. i6T's should be cheaper once the v6 twin turbos come out.
