I put 6*9s in my EB which was on gas. Had no choice to use spacers. Can get them from Autobahn but they aint cheap!
Hope this helps!

only way is spacers. but they look tacky and out of shape......make ur own parcel shelf. takes an effort but ull be happy with results.

My old EF was on gas, I used spacer's but I think from memory I had to run mount them sideways because of the centre lap sash..

The spacers I saw in at Autobahn looked pretty cool. They were sloped up to the speaker and were the factory grey. Didn't look too bad at all except for the price tag attatched.....$99 for a couple of pieces of plastic!

I didn't have to deal with the seatbelt as mine has just a lap belt in the centre. The spacers you've got are they just plain square or do they slope up to the speaker?

i recently fitted 6*9's into my gas falcon.

i used a wood spacer from rice-o-bahn, $10
slid them under the carpet of the shelf, bolted the speakers in (that was fun...) turned out really well.

to get around the seatbelt i just angles the 6*9's inward. people that see them think that its factory.

i did the exact same thing but made my own spacers, it looks 100% stock, unless u park it next to another ef and u notice the bulge under each speaker, looks good as it flows though, i have soem piks but cant post anything up for some reason.

i finally got around to putting the 6*9s in the back, they look better than i first thought, i tucked them under the carpet in the back and stretched it out over the spacers so that it flows over them much better, thanks everyone for your ideas, but keep em coming, there's always room for improvement (might even make my own shelf when i have more time)

i dont have any pics just yet, but as soon as i get some i'll post them. i think getting the angles on them was the hardest part, i didnt want them to run front to back, i did have to take out the restraint harness, but thats no big deal
