Just got a 95 EF , puld out the stocky head unit, snipd the wires, rewired the new head unit, but for some reason the alarm control wont open the boot or lok or unlok the doorz

check the fuses!
does your new radio work after you 'snipped the wires"?

have you 'reprogrammed the remote fobs?"

and lastley does it start?

Yeh new radio works, smart lock works, interior light works, fuses are fine immobiliser works, starts. The remote just wont work

Its in the manual you get with the car. But anyway. Press the rear demist buttom 3 times within 5 sec when the car is in the ON position (i think about the key position). The door locks should lock and unlock a couple times. Then press the door button on a remote till the doors lock and unlock again, then repeat the locking process till all remotes are done. Then press the rear demist button once to exit learn mode. They should now work.

Im not completely sure this is the process but its pretty close. BUT it is in the owners manual for any EF EL.

BTW i didnt mean the workshop manual. Its the owners manual. Sorry to repeat or confuse you.
