i have a ef fairmont ghia with premium sound, there is power to the unit but you have to crank up the volume to max to hear just a little bit. then all of a sudden with a lot of static noise through the speakers the sound comes normal for a while and as quick as it came it goes again. is the amp stuffed? anyone knows someone in sydneys west that could have a look at it? ford just wanted to sell me a new setup. i bought a s/hand unit on ebay and it did the same.
