Hi,
iv got 2x6 inch pioneers and 2x6.5 splits in my ute, with a 12 inch kicker sub, with a 2chnl and 4 chnl amp. When i turn the music up high, the voices from a song stop, however, the base still keeps kicking, then the voices will come back on. can any1 give me an idea of what might be wrong, cheers

Now let me guess, the subs run off the 2 ch and the rest off the 4 ch right? Does this happen only when driving or does it happen when parked as well?
If it is only when driving does it only occur when there are bumps in the road?
Can you see the indicators on the amps when it plays up?
My guess depending on the questions above is that the 4 ch amp running your speakers is dropping out due to protection cutting it out, or the remote signal connection is dodgey.
Where do you have the amps installed, do they get adequate ventilation, do they feel hot when it plays up?
You need to give some more info to get a more accurate assessment.....

Amp could be going into protection from overheating or dodgy connections, shorting out, gains set too high..
