Hey all I was wondering if there was someone out there who could help me
I recently just spent some money buying a new sound set up
The car came with a system but that was all blown all that survives in an 8 inch sub mounted in the parcel tray but it’s in poorish condition so I don’t mind scrapping it. I put my old head unit in (JVC S640 dunno if that’s any good) and hooked it up to the front stockies for now. But now I just brought whole pioneer kit consisting of a
Gm-3200t amp
ts-a 6961e (6x9s)
ts-61641r (6x6s)
and a ts-w301r sub
So wiring up the front 6x6 speakers won’t be too hard my question is will I be able to run the 6x9s on my amp as well as the sub or is the amps sole purpose to run the sub? If so will I be able to run both my subs?
I can find out more specs if needed
Thankyou all.

Okay after looking at the specs of the things you have I have come to the conclusion that the amp can either be used to power the 6 x 9s or the Sub. Personally I would buy a slightly more powerful amp to power the sub but since you only have the one amp it should be powerful enough to run the sub.

The sub has an RMS value of 150W and the amp when bridged wil give a 150W RMS output @ 4ohm and at 14.4V. But in reality the amp would probably only put out 130W RMS at 12 volts.

Anyways in conclusion...run the front and rear speakers from the head unit for now and power the sub with the amp until you find yourself a more powerful amp. When you plan on upgrading you can always get a 4 channel amp to power the sub and rear speakers and use the 2 channel amp for the front speakers...just a suggestion.

good luck and have fun putting it together =D
