Reason he said that is because with black the car must be absolutley straight, as with black paint dings/creases show up alot more than they would say if the car was painted white..

have seen a black XG ute, it looked alright, i reckon your ute looks good as is mate, if u r after a change have u considered putting a pearl or ice over it??

I got a new rear tailgate and rear bumper put on, was only $440 for both. Small price to pay to make the back end look s**t better. IMO like the way yours looks at the moment - but i am thinking of a darker colour too. Reckon it would look good painted black too tho.

i think black would look tops on your ute, i wanted to get the pano done in that colour but because of the large rear quaters all the factory optioned creases and warps would show up in black. But with a ute there heaps smaller so that would happen. You could always just do a pearl throough the black for say a bottom section like the sill right around the car instead of full pearl
