Can someone help me in directing me to where the rear bumper is attached to , i have removed the screws of the mud guards, popped out the side lugs, removed the clips of the brackets from underneath, and it still wont budge what am i missing???

these 4 bolts that hold it in place in the boot, have you got them out?

Presume you're talking about an EA. Lift up your boot floormat and you'll see 2 bolts either side, which hold the bar mounting bracket to the chassis.
