							hey guys,

i recently discovered an old army surplus parachute which my old man was hiding...God knows why, but he reckons the material is expensive...Anyhow i was thinking of using it for a car cover, ive heard this is a good material for it as it's silk. Any thoughts on this??? Also would anyone have a clue of how i could possibly modify it to fit my EL?? cheers |

dont use the silk, get a proper car cover designed to keep water, dust, sunlight, etc off our car, silk is simply a very fine cloth, which means it wont do much more than gather fine particles of dust that will scratch your paint

wont be out in the sun...its in the garage and i dont drive it often, so it piles on the dust over the week. Just annoys me washing the thing every week....
