Spent some time last sunday to get the Tickford up to scratch (pardon the pun)

Complete Deep impact application by hand, then rotary then random orbital
Deep Impact double glaze and triple glaze multiple applications with orbital at speed 1 to thicken the paint

Much appreciated George
By the way your Purity samples are just three to four weeks away.

TIP FOR TODAY

Always finish polishing and glazing work when working by hand or machine with a movement that follows the shape/contour of the panels. dont do up and down pass to finish up on a front guard. go left to right

TODAYS TIP

Microfibre is more aggressive than foam.
When using paint cleaners or any polish that is abrasive by hand, Microfibre or strong foam hand pads are what I recommend to get the very best results

Microfibre applicator pads are available in all sorts of sizes, the best to buy are those sold by detailing supply stores not auto parts stores, though they are getting better with their car care lines.

Always finish applying any paint care product with straight lines that match the panels.
go from left to right. circular motions are fine to start with and during the application of a product but make sure the pad your using and the surface are completely clean and contaminant free
thus clay the paint or use purity and clay prior to paint cleaning, polishing, glazing and coating

ooh dear. I'll be sending a sample very soon
Not sure if this stuff will fix that oxidation but certainly will clean the entire paint system

morning hans.
I just tested out my V1.2 version of Clay Mate aka ClayBLAM
This will now have an additive that will come with the clay mate that you can add into the container
The more that is put in, the drier the lubricant gets (reduces dwelling time on the paint) but is steroids for clay blocks.

You can reverse the drying by adding more lubricant from the container into your chemical spray tank or spray bottle or add some water
This gear will need to be rinsed off with water and dried before beginning any paint repair process
or best yet followed with step 3 of the decon system again

Okay another quick tip for all you enthusiasts

Do not use Pre Soak at the self serve car wash on single stage (non clearcoated) paint. Especially pre 90's original paint
