If you are going to stick gay badges on your car you may as well go all out. :P

I'd go 360kw if its a manual. 15% drivetrain loss sounds good if you like being conservative. It'd suck to claim too much and get beaten.

fully agree with the 700kw idea.. dansedgli i like your thinking..

why put a kw badge at all... mines boosted but i dont tell peopl my hp output let alone badge the car..

gay idea, your car but..

my vct engine has 117,000 on the engine, 400,000 on the gearbox..
a little comparison, my mrs au has 230.000km on engine,box and diff..it made 105 rwkw on lpg..
xcabbi's au with about 800,000km on lpg made 107rwkw..

so i guess kms are not really realivent..

Hmm, I'd be surprised if we saw the same "factory claimed power vs rear wheel power" ratio on a car that is new and a car that is 10 years old. I'm not saying it eventually gets to the point where a 157KW engine will only put out 5KW, but *surely* there must be some advantage to something that has less wear.

Another point of course is the technology used in the gearbox, diff, bearings, etc.

If this is going on a BA personally I'd rather go completely the other way and do a full on sleeper...lose all the spoilers, body kits and other associated bits of plastic that do , lets face it, four fifths of ferk all - lose all the badges, stickers etc etc, stick some stocky wheels on it, inconspicuous paint etc. - then go pick some races with faggotty commonwhores with paintouts on their poxic green paint and pretend Audi fairy lights....the other advantage of going this way is that the cops won't even give you a second look...
But, as others have said and I agree 100% with, its your car - go your own way with it...

Couple of alternatives;

385,000 RWW (rear wheel watts)

or

859.84523 RWC (rear wheel calories)

or

3.4121415 RWBTU (rear wheel British Thermal Units)

nothing wrong with what FAST-XR wants to do

he basically has upped the power in his turb'd falcon from stock, and wishes to make it visible to others, without having to illegally race every C*** on the street to show them

although theres other ways to achiev the same thing, like a big mofo aftermarket cooler poking through the bumper....... should be enough of a giveaway that things have been improved :)

I de-badged my ute, cept for the FORD on the back due to the holes behind it.
But on my last dyno run it pulled 327, it's a good number to confuse the chevvy brigade, so stuck that on the back right below the badge, looks good IMO. Is in my pics.
I prefer the RWKW figure to ATFW.

if i were to put a badge on a power reading id use a "?" leaves people guessing but at the same time it dont talk it up or do whatever power reading u have subtract 5kw then add a "+"

Nerdy as but put *.* - older DOS users will recognise as a wildcard...

10 *.RWKW > YOUR.RWKW
20 = YOU_LOSE
30 GOTO 10

I could have used one of these badges last night - got harassed by some young guys in a VS commode HSV - apparently 215 KW - wanted to know if my `old ford' was up for a race at the lights. Absolutely creamed them...5 car lengths by 3rd gear...see, if I had a badge saying 216 KW I could have saved the fuel - not sure if it would be as much fun though...

We put a mates FG F6 manual (6 speed) on the rollers.
It had done 8,000km. Had been serviced once by Ford and was stock.
The badge on the car claimed 310kw. It pulled 287rwkw.
