Hey guys looking to do a DIY paint job on my Ef fairmont. Just a quick closed door respray. How many litres do u reckon it would take to do 2 or 3 coats? It's a sedan btw.

When we had the XF sprayed we bought a 4l tin. Can't remember how much was left. Same as when the AU was given a freshen up.

i think it depends on the paint and how much thinners is used etc etc

Depends on your experience really.. i can do it with two litres of colour.. less if its just a caryard job lol
the paint to some degree for instance yellows dont cover as well, thin it out too much and the paint is lifeless
