Well if you were looking for the stuff in a can, go to supercheap auto. But contact PPG for that info, they will most likely be able to directly supply it to you, or atleast point you in the right direction. Unless your after a specific brand?

4 grand wont do an entire car in Camelian paint.

I spoke to someone from PPG earlier this year, and they gave me a list of all the suppliers in sydney, and even a list of recommended spray painters.

The respray that was done on my fairy by Brad was $6k - and thats just in cobalt blue.

Well Pyroay's Camelian paint job was about 12 grands worth if im not mistaken. Even if you didnt get a sprayer to do it for you it would still cost more than $4000 easy! :)

I sprayed my Gixxer in Kameleon Plum (Purple/Blue Gold)
Got the paint from ummmmm.... It was near Bankstown, not too far from the Jaycar there.... I cant remember the address for the life of me, but I know how to get there...
They are an auto paint supplier... Nothing more.. But they are quite big... About the size of a repco or so....

Ill look on the cans that I got, im sure the brand / address is on there..

I got mine for $400 - $450 or very close to per litre...
I ended up using up the litre, and I started thinning out the paint for things like the rear hugger.......

You might, (not too sure) need more than four litres to do a car... Then again, the good thing with kameleon is that you really dont need thick coats to get the effect coming up....

Im currently stripping the paint off my gixxer now.... I actually got sick of the colour (plus the tank has been off the bike, and a family member accidently inverted the thing, spilling petrol all over the thing, and screwing up the paint work.....
Plus also one of the fairing parts has a nice long scratch on it...
As you know, chameleon cant be touched up..... Its a complete respray thing.....

Anyways, Ill find the address of this place for ya and post it up...
Just say your trade when you ask over the phone for a price, then rock up saying that you were quoted that price lol...

The paint dude is located on one of the three avenues hanging off Brunker Road

I Think it might be rosedale Avenue....
Its about halfway up, and is on the side closest to Liverpool Road..

I still dont know the name of the place... Ill try and find that out later..

But yeah these guys were a heap cheaper than Super cheap / Auto One for their paint, and they have a much larger variety as well (Something like 8 different kameleons)

House of colour make a vareity of kameleon colours but arnt very cheap at about $1500 a litre. Motospray aslo have a line of kameloen colours the a resonably priced aswell I think about $400 a litre, sorry but I cant help you with any contacts and a little advice when we done my car we only used 1 and half litre's to do the entire outside and that was 5 coats, after the second coat there was no change in the effect so I would say you would need 3 litres at the most.

I will see if I can track down some distributors in sydney for you
