thanks guys, um the rims are csa avengers 17x8 thats the biggest they make them in which is a shame

Thats actually a s**t load of room between the tyres and lower control arm.

you sure it wasnt just in need of a camber kit or even a wheel alingment, perhaps the toe was out?? i find it hard to beleive that the control arm took out the tyres with 18's
