After a recent accident that involved my car losing it's power steering and ended up hitting a friends driveway post a month ago. It has received a make over. Since my insurer could not locate a new XR front bar I opted for them to put on the venom instead.
I recently added the chrome door moulds, clear indicators, ef/l fairmont reaer lights and had the whole rear bar repaired of any scrapes and had the red strip colour coded to the car. Plus finally got my sequential scoop painted too!

Here are the before and after pics...

I am now just waiting to see how much I get in my tax return to decide on what I will be doing next. They are...
-Lowered to super lows
-EL GT copies in shadow chrome
-Tinted windows
-Cam and chip

I'm happy with how it came out and makes my car completely individual to all the other EF/L XR's in the area.

well looks cool. But the washed out effect of the after photos probably don't do it justice.

The front bar looks horn, there's no doubt about that

The red trim did break the car up a bit but there are so many blue XR's in standard trim in such a small area where I live that I needed to "improve" and make my car an individual again.

I'm going to get better photo's soo. But the weather here is so downright miserable that it is impossibe for the camera to get a good one.

I reckon it looks better without the stripes. I've never cared for the red stripes on XRs. It'd look awesome if the XR8 badge was chrome, too.
