Hey, i have an ef falcon, and im thinking of doing a bit of exterior modding. First thing that came to mind is to fit a new front, so i was wondering what needs to be done to fit say a fairmont/fairlane grille/bonnet ect to a falcon?

Fairmont/lane bonnet (grille is part of the bonnet) , bumber and headlights. The bumpers are cheap but the bonnet and headlights will probably cost you an arm and a leg

You'll also need a new bonnet latch and plastic trim / shroud that sits above the headlights...oh and a handful of scrivets if you don't manage to 'recycle' your old shroud ones hehe. |

Supercheap auto also sell them in the spinny things (rotating racks) at the back of the shop normally!

I put a EL fairmont front on my EF GLi a few of years ago - its not a big job, apart from having to paint the bonnet and and bumper it only took a couple of hours.
I fluked it and managed to do a straight swap my GLI parts for the Fairmont parts other wise it wouldn't of been worth doing. |
