they should not rust if they are hpc coated it is not a paint

i got steel headers and after 5 yrs still no rust

I dont even know if its rust, its a discolouration between the pipes and has some little spots on the surface.

gotta love some of the s**t stories that exhaust shops come up with..... my local guy is a holden nut (tho he drives a hilux) and IMO is usually on the ball..... tho he hates stainless exhausts....

Hi All,

Just for future reference cutting the tip back can cause damage to the bar. I know this as I have just obtained a fairlane that had been butchered by the previous owner and melted the bumper and the tail light.

Well my bumper up the very top on the exhaust side is all warped and the fella at the exhaust shop said sometimes the stock exhaust breaks off at the resonator and people think it will be allright but it gets to hot and warps the bar??? anyway im sure i have seen this on a few falcons

my bumper melted with my exhaust tip... just get em to bend it down, or get an oval tip..
