 yeah it works same as asl dvd kit....its pretty much a vga video input that connects to your aux input at the top of the icc then you run a vga cable to your mac power the mac with an inverter powered by wiring from your ciggie lighter all the mac power pack and cables fit snug between your glove box compartment and cup holders when you remove the centre console facia then you just mount it wherever suits you i just carry a 1TB usb hard drive around with all my music and movies etc just plug it in and use itunes for music and watch southpark on long drives

Hmmm...VERY tempting. Whats the display resolution like for playback? I assume its limited to the ability of the screen...around 640 X 480 is my guess. So when you switch to AUX port, the MAC will kick in as a car PC?

yes the res is 640x480 which is small but on the mac you can adjust it to have big text and icons with small res....it kicks in when you turn it on and takes over the screen but all standard functions are still there if you turn volume down it will go back to main icc screen for a second so you can see what your doing then goes straight back to mac screen....you need to press your aux button for sound however.

you notice goin from stock diff to lsd
i just went from stock 2.7 ratio diff to 3.76 LSD and from 2500rpm on it pulls so much better, youll need to do your tailshaft too theyre bad for not coping with power and it sucks busting one while your driving....ill try make a video tonight of how the mac works and post it up |

i got a mad deal on my diff only payed $500 for complete fpv rear end but the tailshaft killed me a new tailshaft converting from CVs to uni joints is $1600, on the fg its a mission too they had my car for a week
 the bloke showed me one that had snapped a week earlier....it looks like a torn open coke can ( not very strong at all) |

i also have a spare raptor supercharger for sale if any of you guys are keen i have a rebuilt raptor v supercharger(black), all pipework to suit ba (you will need new BOV if fitting to fg) a belt and fuel reg to suit fg....all youll need to buy is a mounting bracket, 2x idler pulleys ($100), flash tuner, injectors ($150) and new BOV and your boosting
chasing $1600 for the lot

Thought I'd contribute, but I don't know how to add pictures lol
 Haven't done much. Just got the GT front bar on, carbon fiber look on all that plastic silver trim in the interior. DTX and Kicker speakers with two 12" Option Audio subs in the boot. Made some stuff shiny in the engine bay and pulled out the air restricter, plus some pretty lights here and there. Still waiting for the cash to get my exhaust installed, but I've got pacemakers, high flow cat, custom manta 3" Y split catback |

Put some new wheels on it... like the 5 spoke 19" over anything else I have seen so far. Prefere the wide contact they make with the hub over the dark agent as well.  My plan is to get the wheels painted in a matt black along with the sports bar. Wishing I could get my hands on the "plastidip" stuff at a decent price to temporarily test it up and see how it all looks. Also going to get a darker tint put on it as the factory tint is pretty lite. Then once warranty has lapsed I will do headers/exhaust/CAI and a tune. |
