I got quoted $2000 for my Ticky kit sprayed and fitted from top gun paint and panel in warilla, I was expecting $600, any ideas Where in the ilawarra is a good job and reasonable price

 just go elsewhere and get some quotes.

Give it a go yourself. You will only need the basic spraying equipment and a good sunny day.

I do have a small compressor, and I think a spray gun, Im leaning towards doing it my self ,
Uniacidz So u can spray my kit ?

for 2k im getting a radiator support panel changed and bare metal respray on my whole front end on my el xr6.so i say go shopping for another panle shop

As someone else posted it's most likely they weren't f**k doing it, my mate went to the place where I got the quote from and he got the front half his car and all the roof resprayed for $2000

unless you can paint well and you do it yourself it'll come out flawed and flat. and look terrible.

i got my genuine el kit re sprayed fitted and front bar repaired and resprayed down here in vic for $1000.
But the first place i went to wanted $2500 just to respray and fit the kit, he was talking alot of s**t about how hard it was and it would take weeks etc. so yea best bet is to shop around |

Mines not genuine so he was saying it will be harder to fit cos most copies don't fit on with out cutting and modding etc I was thinking I'll fit it myself then get it sprayed. Should lower the cost a fair bit
