I'm ordering the paint today for my EA fairmont Ghia. Silver Slate

I'm thinking about giving it a coat of pearl over the colour, do you guys think Gold pearl would look good?

If someone has a pic of a silver slate EA-ED post a pic up to help people judge please :wink:

black pearl? nah

Blue or purlpe wouldnt look good on silver slate because the silver slate already has red in it.

I'm getting the GOLD :D sorry frank

why not the bluish pearl. doesnt have to be dark blue pearl.......

have you seen the silver slate? its silver with red flecks, blue pearl would look stupid IMO, thats why i wont go with it. I think the gold will look classier.

If it's already got red in it, why don't you go for a red pearl? Or if you want it to look lighter in the sun, maybe a pink? Don't think I'm taking the piss, mine has a pink pearl through it and it really makes it look a different in the sunlight...

I thought about a red pearl, wouldnt go pink though, would look different but not really to my liking.

I have ordered the gold pearl, should look pretty good

I used a purple pearl over a dark blue on a vp... the guy mixed in 3 grams of pearl was'nt enough to make a huge difference so use more than that.

I'm getting the pearl applied seperately to the colour coat . It will be applied after the colour and before the clear coat. He is mixing in 15 grams so it should look awsome
