Quote: they have terminals on the end of the wires, I just wraped electrical tape around the terminals and the wires for the sake of it.
Can I suggest, that next time you plan some wiring work. That you use Heat Shrink instead of Electrical tape. You'll get a neater more robust job, and all you need is a heatgun or lighter.

I have started my Install, I have made up the control units.
Thought this would be the appropriate place to post it rather than start yet another thread on this subject.

![]() You might wan't to put an inline fuse up near the battery connection.

Buy a inline fuse holder (blade type is best) splice it into the wire leading from the battery.
Something like these ![]() ![]()

Yes, this is a very good question. I would like to know the answer too. In a factory fitment the lights are only active while the indicator is on and not running costantly. Being the lense is only polycarbonate, are they at any risk of melting? I know the globe in it is only low wattage (H5-is that right?) but is it enough to be able to do damage to the lense? |

pm me and ill send you inline fuse holder (2nd type ) and some heatshrink free im a wurth rep and we sell all that stuff also if you retrofit the globes with led type bulbs these donot create heat so melting shoud not be a problem but im not sure if the brigtness from the led bulbs will cause a yellowing effect on the polycarbonite ps the springs i got off you BLOODY AWSOME especilly with shortened boge shockies
