Hi all, ive just come across an AU fairmont, and i was wondering if anyone had attempted to mod this interior into that of an EF/EL? if anyway had pics or advice? whether its to damn hard or worth a try? btw the AU is completely written off, and going wreckers.

would be a hell of allot of work mate, just about everything is a different shape!
different shaped doors/windows, dash shape etc etc.....

THere is a few people who have put the seats into EF/ELs but the whole interior would be a hell of a job.

The AU dash is ugly I personally think with that big bubble in the middle. |

has anyone put the front and rear seats from an AU into an EF/EL??
i can do the front seats no probs just looking for some help with the rears, will i need to mod some rails in the rear or whats the go??

Dash and door trims would be scary to do.
Console and front and rears seats have been done. I believe MICKY (I think he has a few extra letters in his username somewhere) had a set of AU seats in his EF/EL XR8. He actually had them for sale a while back, so might be worth seeing if they're still there. |
