Hey All,

I like the XR8 and was thinking maybe i could fit them into my EF XR8 with little mods. Front seats in not that worried as its only rails, im more concerned about the rears and how they will fit in.

Anyone have any ideas??? :D :D :D

I think what he's trying to say is that nothing is really going to fit straight up. Anything can be done though with the right amount of cash!

More worry than its worth I think, while you are at it, a 460 will fit, maybe do that too.....lol

Whats the benefit, nothing wrong with whats there, the $$$ better spent on horsepower.

Ill measure up a co workers XR6 turbo tomorrow and see what the difference is. I dont see much difference between them so maybe just little mods there in.

Just look at vl's out there, alot of them have VT VY and VX interior in them with little mods so i canr see it being that hard for a EF

I've seen a ba xr interior in an XF before, so the chances are it'll go in, but it will need custom work. IIRC BA interiors don't even fit AU's.

They fit into AU's but need a fair bit of work to make it fit. There is a bloke on here who has done the BA interior into an AU with complete dash and all. Cant remember his username for the life of me though.

A mate of mine has basically turned his EL in an AU VCT XR6 (he's the bloke who did the IRS/VCT conversion) as a part of that he put the leather interior out of the AU in his. It all fits up fine, except for the lil pieces that sit between the doors and the back of the seat. He just needed to mod the plugs IIRC...

Like everyone else has said, where there's a will, there's a way....
