Well, I have a For Fairlane Au2 Ghia and someone stepped on the switch that moves the seat up/down/forward/up. The switch is now totally annihlated, it snapped right off. I can't operate the seat anymore and I am looking to try and replace/fix it. Any ideas/suggestions? Please help am in dire straits... :?

The best way would be to find an AU Fairlane seat with the switch intact and swap it over. Try ebay as people sell the switch assembly on its own.

Ask darren at ftg - He had a nu fairlane that came in that may have the switches!

Wait - is it AU Fairlane or NU Fairlane - pretty sure its AU.

Its an AU Fairlane camh1980. AU2 to be exact. Ive asked at FTG but no reply as of yet. the thing is that i'm not sure if neo_nick is referring to a new fairlane or an NU fairlane.

I know they're about $150 new from memory, mine was playing up when i bought it, it would only go forward, i took it apart and cleaned and has been perfect ever since... The same with elec window switches.

yep i emailed them mate. Theres nothing wrong with the electronics of the switch. someone stepped on it and snapped the whole switch off, so now there is nothing there except for a space where the switch should be sticking out. FTG said they have none left so im not sure who else to ask...
