I have brought a FPV FG F6 cluster which also shows the Turbo Boost and Oil temp in the cluster (as the G6ET does not).

I have been told the BEM is now in the cluster in the FG models and therefore needs to be programmed by Ford to enable the car to start when changing clusters - also I have been told that the Turbo Boost guage has not been figured out yet to enable it in a G6ET.

Anyone shed any further light on this subject?

I have heard exactly what you have said, that even to change cluster in an fg the car needs to be taken to ford to have a paremeter reset done.

Im guessing you got that from FTG?
If so whatever darren told you will be the gospel on it

As soon as Darren starts getting some wrecked ones or I am able to get my hands on a cluster , I'll start trying to sort out the internals.

I spose I should go and see Darren and strip one and take some notes.

I have no data on any FG series modules I'm afraid.

But I do have the tools to do it. Just no access to any cars. Maybe I should rent one for a day opr something....!

Theres already been one written off from what i have been told.
Every FPV vehicle is taken on a 30km or 40km test drive from FPV before its sent out. Accidents do happen while they are out on teh public test track
